Kidnapped Beggar girl gang-raped for six days by her captors
A beggar girl who was kidnapped six days ago from the Sunder area of Lahore has managed to escape from the custody of the kidnappers and reached Lahore from Haveli Lakha. The girl told her father that she was gang-raped by her captors at gunpoint for six days.
The girl was kidnapped along with his brother. However, her brother is still missing as the Police have failed to recover him. The victim’s father fears for his son’s life and urged authorities to recover him at the earliest.
Street boys bravely foil kidnaper’s attempt to abduct a 7-year-old girl
The spokesperson of Islamabad Police has said that the children playing in the street in the area of G-10 have shown extreme courage to foil a child kidnapping bid. The children chased the kidnapper and with the help of a masjid imam captured the alleged kidnapper and handed him over to the police.
The alleged abductor was luring a seven-year-old girl by giving her toys and telling her to go along. The boys who were playing passed got suspicious and started probing the man, from which the abductor tried to escape. However, the boys chased and caught him.
Police have registered a case under Section 364-A of PPC and started an investigation. The police said the suspect was a professional child-lifter and he would disclose his offences committed for child abduction.
Gang rape convicts set free after victim withdraws the case
The judge of an additional sessions Court, Khipro on Thursday ordered to set free all the convicts in the Zainab Bhayo gang-rape case after complainant Dr Mohammad Amin Bhayo and the victim said they did not want to pursue the case.
The complainant of the case, Dr Bhayo, and the victim Zainab Bhayo appeared before the court and recorded their statements in favour of the convicts.
In 2019, an Additional Sessions court awarded capital punishment to the accused including Danish, Jahanzeb and Wasim Rajput and handed down a life term of 25 years with rigorous punishment.
The convicts had gang-raped a young girl, recorded the entire ordeal of the victim and then shared the video on different sites on the internet in the year 2010.
