Special girl gang-raped in Lahore
A mentally challenged girl was gang-raped in the Manawan area. The special child’s father reported that his young daughter went out of the house on Monday. When she did not return, the family searched for her outside. The mother eventually found her daughter with her clothes torn, bleeding and assaulted.
The victim revealed that she was raped by three individuals, including Gulfam Aslam, Arsalan alias Bholi Aslan and another unidentified suspect. The Lahore police have registered a case and arrested the prime suspect Arsalan Bholi. As noted by CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, police teams have been deployed to conduct raids to arrest the other suspects.
Police thrash man to death
Okara: A man was beaten to death during a raid by police officials in the Lalewala village near Hujra Shah Mubeen on Sunday.
As per the first information report, SI Ali Husnain Shah and four other police officers entered the cattle pen of 40-year-old Hanif late on Sunday evening and forcibly picked him up and thrashed him. Upon seeing the victim’s deteriorating condition, the police did not provide medical aid but instead pushed him out on the road and fled.
Family members of the deceased and other locals from the area gathered and blocked the Hujra-Kasur Road in protest. The Hujra police station has registered a case against the accused SI Husnain and the four accompanying suspects.
