Ehsaas Aid Distribution Against SOP

Senior PPP leaders term the distribution of Benazir Income Support Program payments under the Ehsaas Program through two private banks “faulty”. Rural Citizens Economically Stifled

Shrinking demand for agricultural and livestock goods due to closure of markets, refinement and packaging plants, as well as limitations on goods, transports is depriving poor farmers’ of their livelihood. PU Exams To Be Held Online

Punjab University examinations will be conducted online if the pandemic situation does not improve by the end of June, according to the university’s administration. A mechanism will be devised to distribute papers through a protected and secure channel, ensure adequate server loads, and that exams are conducted fairly. However, students from tribal and rural areas may be unable to sit for online exams due to the lack of internet provisions in their region.

PIMS Patients Under Duress

COVID-19 patients and families at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) are experiencing great hassles due to mismanagement and lack of communication. Patients’ families are made to the crowd outside wards while suspected patients are tested, running the risk of exposing multiple people to the virus in a hospital environment. Relatives are also unable to reach and ascertain the status of admitted patients through the dedicated helpline provided by PIMS.
