Sessions courts designated for speedy rape trials, activists hail move

May 8th, 2021; By Rehan Piracha; LAHORE; All sessions courts in the country have been designated as special courts to try those accused of rape under the anti-rape ordinance promulgated in December last year. Women activists welcomed the development, calling it a first step towards providing a conducive environment for rape survivors.
